Success stories

"I reached out to Leigh for what turned out to be 4 life-changing sessions that connected my creative side to my career ambitions in a way that feels so authentic and empowering."

"As someone who feels they don't quite fit in and wants to walk their own path, I found working with Leigh an inspiration."

– David B. Smith, Visual Artist, Teacher, and Designer
"The way Leigh theorizes the modalities of the creative process is just absolute poetry. Through various “homework” projects and in-session collaborative brainstorms, I’ve learned so much about the way I work as a creator, a hobbyist, an artist. working with Leigh has enabled me to actually feel pride in what I do."

"I now have an arsenal of tools I wish I had years ago for tackling my most challenging projects. I can't say enough about how transformative my sessions with Leigh have been - but in short, she's reignited my love for creating, and that is invaluable."

Full Testimonials

"For the longest time I was ashamed of my own creative habits, which would inherently lead to a lot of unfinished projects that left me more drained than inspired. I’m a person that finds themselves pretty overly organized when it comes to my 9-5 work habits and goals, but when I’d come home to exert my own creative energy on whatever I wanted, I was sort of lost. As I’ve told Leigh numerous times in our sessions, somewhat ineloquently: “I love the way her brain works.” In all seriousness, the way Leigh theorizes the modalities of the creative process is just absolute poetry. Through various “homework” projects and in-session collaborative brainstorms, I’ve learned so much about the way I work as a creator, a hobbyist, an artist. Hell, I was ashamed to even -use- the word “artist” to describe myself and the things I’ve made and created- but working with Leigh has enabled me to actually feel pride in what I do. I've even allowed myself to feel good about letting ideas or projects “sit” for a time without shame or guilt. Leigh has helped me conquer pretty crippling anxiety when it comes to my creative work. Working with Leigh, I've learned to unlearn all of the shameful feelings and mechanical processes that have plagued my every creative endeavor.

Leigh brings her own experiences with ideation to every session and doesn't just reference them to let them hang out in the ether; she gives you the space to experiment, to perfect and fail and reflect and find what works for you as a creator. I now have an arsenal of tools I wish I had years ago for tackling my most challenging projects.

I can't say enough about how transformative my seasons with Leigh have been - but in short, she's reignited my love for creating, and that is invaluable."

– Cass, Crafter, Cosplayer, and Podcaster
"I am a visual artist, teacher, and designer and have enjoyed relative success over the last 10 years, but have often felt that my improvisational creative spirit wasn't sufficiently connected to my goals of financial security, belonging to a community, building strong creative collaborations, and making a body of work that I could truly be proud of. I reached out to Leigh for what turned out to be 4 life-changing sessions that connected my creative side to my career ambitions in a way that feels so authentic and empowering. We worked on clearly articulating my values and goals and came up with plans of how to pursue them amidst the inevitable challenges from within and from the world at large. As someone who feels they don't quite fit in and wants to walk their own path, I found working with Leigh an inspiration. With the mind maps, notes, exercises, and aphorisms we developed, I am excited to more intentionally and organically inhabit my creative career and community toward goals of mutual growth, support, creative play, and abundance."
